posters M I S C E L L A N E O U S JUST THROW IT This poster was made to help promote a wheel-throwing course available in the spring semester at Illinois Wesleyan University. While providing information, it still manages to be fun, catchy, and bright. View on Behance Poster Set This is a poster set for IWU’s annual student juried show and senior exhibitions. The posters had to work displayed as a set or separately. So I place the event titles over one another in different colors, where the featured event would be in black and the type underneath would be a pale mint so that it would be readable, but not distract from the point of emphasis. All the information was placed neatly to fit along different points of the designed grid. Then a colored background and light abstract graphic were added to elevate the typography while maintaining a minimal, less is more approach. View on Behance Alzheimer’s Association This poster for Alzheimer’s awareness was done for my typography class. Upon research of Alzheimer’s, my findings led me to consider type-based graphics that could visually represent the disease. The solution I came up with was the word “Alzheimer’s” repeated on top of each other with letters dropping out and different levels of opacity. This was done to mimic the deterioration of memory and cognition in a visual way. View on Behance Thanks Thanks for making it to the end!
